What’s better than a hot chocolate to warm up during the long winter evenings? And it's even better in front of a good Christmas movie!
Ingredients
- 4 cups of plant-based milk
- 100g of 70% dark chocolate
- 1 piece of fresh ginger
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cups of water
- 4 chai tea bags
- Optional: ½ teaspoon of black peppercorns
Recipe
- Add all ingredients (except the tea bags) into a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the chocolate is melted.
- Once the chocolate is melted, add the 4 chai tea bags. Cover the saucepan, reduce heat, and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat, strain the mixture before pouring it into your cups.
- Mix coconut yogurt with coconut sugar until you reach the desired sweetness and pour the mixture over your cup.
