Dark chocolate chai latte

What’s better than a hot chocolate to warm up during the long winter evenings? And it's even better in front of a good Christmas movie!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of plant-based milk
  • 100g of 70% dark chocolate
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 chai tea bags
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon of black peppercorns

Recipe

  1. Add all ingredients (except the tea bags) into a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the chocolate is melted.
  3. Once the chocolate is melted, add the 4 chai tea bags. Cover the saucepan, reduce heat, and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat, strain the mixture before pouring it into your cups.
  5. Mix coconut yogurt with coconut sugar until you reach the desired sweetness and pour the mixture over your cup.
  6. Enjoy!
