Basil Seeds Organic

Basil seeds are consumed throughout Asia much like chia seeds, with which they share many benefits. In India, they are called Sabja and are used as an ingredient in a dessert called Falooda. Very popular in Thailand, they are used in refreshing drinks, adding a much-appreciated gelatinous texture. In Mauritius, they are called Toucmaria and are used to make a traditional beverage, Alooda. Our supply chain: Ecoidées sources directly from India through a partner who brings together independent farmers. The goal is to provide them with a fair income and contribute to collective projects for the benefit of the producers and their families.
