Carob Powder Organic

Cultivated since ancient times, the carob tree is native to Syria. Carob is a substitute for cocoa but, unlike cocoa, it contains neither theobromine nor caffeine, so it has no stimulating effect on the body. Carob has a low glycaemic index and is therefore of great interest to people who want to reduce their sugar intake. It is also known to fight against cholesterol and improve memory.
